aip@Home defines a Smart Home as a
connected home (both internally and
externally) that better helps us care
for and about our loved
ones.
Most of us already live in
some variation of a connected home:
telephone
cell phone
television
cable
internet access
These are all resources, technology, that
contribute to the quality of our life and lifestyle at home.
aip@Home's
role is to show people how to get the most out of the resources they
may already have (phones, TVs, internet, etc.) and introduce them to new
technologies that they may want to think about getting, such as new or
additional computer hardware, software, webcams for video phone calls
and monitoring systems.

"For centuries we have been building homes using only
concrete and bricks, and more and more we need to provide
'intelligence' for our homes because we want those spaces to
adapt to the user's requirements." Eneo Labs, GM Javier Zamora
