The
Casino
Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) Universal Design
Demonstration Home Showcase.

In its commitment to demonstrate the importance of Universal Design in
both new construction and remodeling, the CRDA funded the design and
construction of a Universal Design Demonstration Home in Atlantic City
to showcase affordable new construction and practical universal design
features which may be incorporated into all new construction and home
remodeling/renovation projects. The Universal Design Demonstration
Home was designed by the Atlantic City architectural firm of
Sykes O’Connor Salerno Hazaveh
and developed in partnership with AARP
and the Center for Universal Design at NC State University.
